1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the US Safe Moving website, submitting a quote request, or engaging our moving services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. About Our Services

US Safe Moving is a licensed interstate motor carrier (USDOT: 3536882, MC: 1179439) providing residential and commercial moving services across California, Nevada, Arizona, and Utah. We are a direct carrier — we do not broker your move to third-party companies.

3. Quotes and Estimates

  • Estimates provided through our website or by phone are non-binding until a formal written agreement is signed.
  • Binding estimates, when provided, represent the maximum amount you will be charged for the services listed, provided the inventory and conditions do not change.
  • Final pricing may change if the scope of work changes (e.g., additional items, access restrictions, additional services requested on move day).
  • All estimates are subject to availability and confirmation by a move coordinator.

4. Booking and Cancellation

  • A deposit may be required to secure your moving date.
  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled move date will receive a full refund of any deposit.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the move may forfeit the deposit.
  • We reserve the right to reschedule moves in case of extreme weather or force majeure events.

5. Liability and Valuation

  • As a licensed carrier, our standard liability is governed by federal regulations (49 CFR Part 375).
  • Basic Released Value Coverage (60 cents per pound per article) is included at no charge.
  • Full Value Protection is available for an additional charge and covers repair, replacement, or cash settlement for damaged items.
  • We are not liable for damage to items that were packed by the customer, pre-existing damage, or inherently fragile items not disclosed prior to the move.
  • Claims must be submitted in writing within 9 months of the delivery date.

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate inventory and access information at the time of booking.
  • Ensure all items requiring special handling (pianos, artwork, hazardous materials) are disclosed in advance.
  • Be present or have an authorized representative present on move day.
  • Ensure payment is ready on delivery as agreed in your contract.

7. Prohibited Items

We cannot transport the following items:

  • Hazardous materials (flammables, explosives, corrosives)
  • Plants and perishable food items (for long-distance moves)
  • Pets and live animals
  • Illegal items or contraband
  • Cash, securities, or irreplaceable documents (please transport these yourself)

8. Website Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You may not submit false information, attempt to exploit our quote system, or use automated tools to scrape or abuse our services. We reserve the right to block access for violations.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, US Safe Moving's total liability for any claim arising from the use of our website or services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific move in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada and applicable federal law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Clark County, Nevada, or through binding arbitration as required by federal moving regulations.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
